I haven’t booked my BIG SALE seats from Airasia yet? Only 3 DAYS more to go for these great low fares! I can’t wait to fly for an awesome adventure soon, just like everyone else!

Next week is the final examination for our preschoolers. March 5-30 is the schedule for our special English class for children ages 4-10. After that, we have April all by ourselves to explore beaches, fishing, water-skiing, boating and more! I can’t wait to walk on the beach with my family donning on my favorite maxi dress, flip flops, and wearing a pair of Costa Del Mar Sunglasses and a brimmed hat.

Is Online Business Degree for Me?

I’m currently contemplating if I’ll enroll myself on online business degree. You see, as a teacher and I earned a business degree, there’s a great possibility that I can become a school administrator which I’m dreaming of before retiring.

However, making the decision to obtain an online business degree will take time, research, and personal reflection to determine which online business degree is right for me. Because I already had a bachelor’s degree, I could look into the option of a master’s degree in business administration. This two-year program is aimed at aspiring managers, executives, supervisors, and administrators. I envy those professionals who are already holding the prestigious master’s of business administration degree. They’re already working in some of the highest paying and most fulfilling positions in industries across the map.

But before enrolling into online business degree, I need to look at my current situation –my work commitment as a preschool teacher, our finances, and my family obligations. Weighing these things may help me determine if an online business degree is the best option for me. Wish me luck:)

Tsunami Survivor is now the New Finnish President

With 62.6 percent of the vote Sauli Niinistö , a 63-year-old attorney, was Sunday elected for the 12th President of Finland. The new president has had a life marked by ups and downs. In 1995 he lost his wife in a car accident, and in 2004 Niinistö managed to survive the tsunami in Thailand as he, in collaboration with his son, clinging to a tree while the tsunami raged.

He has a background as Vice President of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, created a name for himself as Finance Minister from 1993 to 2006. During the election campaign, he profiled himself as a people’s man, and he even expressed remorse over some of his previous decisions as a Minister, but according to the Swedish newspaper, Svenska Dagbladet, it is his reputation as a financial responsible Politician that has made him popular among the Finish people.

Valentine’s Day Plan

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching! Eveybody knows that on February 14 all couples in the world will celebrate it with great passion . One of the ways to celebrate it is by giving and receiving gifts on this particular day. What do I expect from my husband? I asked him not to spend on the couples gold chains we’ve been planning to have since last year. Instead, we’ll save it for a family getaway trip to Krabi or Phuket this coming April. I can’t wait to go on swimming, fishing, or snorkeling. On the other hand, if we cannot have an entire week away , how about a romantic dinner cruise at Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. I haven’t been there yet.

Should I or shouldn’t apply for store credit card?

As a clubcard member of Tesco Lotus and Tops Supermarket, I’m enjoying my cash voucher and discount coupons every 3 months thus I’m not interested to apply for store credit cards when I was offered to get one before. Do you think it’s necessary to have department store credit cards or would it be better if I just used a regular credit card? Here are two advantages of having your own store credit card:

1. Free Stuff. Free gifts sometimes come with your purchases when you buy an item from a store with its credit card. This can be bought on the internet, over the phone, and through magazines, all being delivered by mail to your home.

2. Rewards. If I could have Tesco’s Clubcard Credit Card , I could collect Clubcard points faster. Every quarter, I will receive Clubcard Vouchers for the points I’ve collected and they can be used in a number of ways:

Use them in store to save on whatever I buy.
Clubcard vouchers are worth up to 3x their value with rewards. From restaurants to travel holidays, there are lots of exciting ways to enjoy more value from Clubcard vouchers.

Should I or shouldn’t apply for store credit cards? Methinks, with a store credit card , I have the ability to purchase a good or service now and pay for it later. It can also be safer to use than to carry around cash. I need your idea.

My Home’s Garden

Last summer when we visited our hometown in Philippines, we didn’t enjoy it much because it’s always raining cats and dogs! Because of the rain, crabgrass sprouted around the house and we’re living like in the middle of the jungle. I volunteered to weed the grass off or better yet use crabgrass killer to clear the area but my father said that it’s not a good idea because of the rainy season,it’s the best condition for crabgrass to grow . They’ll wait for the sun to come up before weeding the area and plant sweet potatoes, bananas and other other house plants.

Yesterday, my younger brother who happened to visit home posted photos of the house improvement . My father and siblings managed to plant sweet potatoes, bananas and house plants! I love how everything turns out! I always dream of someday retiring in a house surrounded with garden. Here are some of the photos:
